| As the
new owners of your local pub, The Spinners Arms, we would like
to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy new year.
We appreciate all the support we have received from our regular
customers over the last six months and hope that everyone in
the parish will continue to make use of the pub. To remind you,
our current opening hours are: |

| Saturday
and Sunday: |

- 12pm |

| We believe
very strongly that the pub plays an important role in the community
and we hope that we will be able to provide a variety of events
and sports. If there is anything in particular, you would like
to see in the pub, please call in and have a chat with us. |

| If you
haven't been in for a while, we have made a couple of changes
to the Spinners. We've reinstated the pool table (there's free
pool every Thursday night!) and we are hoping to put a pool
team together for the Carlisle Super Pool League, starting February
20th. We have also added a second real ale handpump and we are
attempting to keep a relatively local ale on one pump as much
as possible. We have had beers on from Hesket Newmarket &
Brampton for example. |

| We hope
to be able to start serving food at some point it may be a
few months before we are in the position to do this though.
However, we can provide buffets for special occasions. |

| The Spinners
Arms can also be hired for private functions (food can be provided)
during weekdays (12am until 5pm) excluding Tuesdays. Funeral
teas can be arranged either privately or through Funeral Directors.
